Research and Laboratories. BlockchainLab.Barcelona promotes an interdisciplinary line of research aimed at exploring new technologies for the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer, continuous monitoring of the human body, and the study of oxidation processes and oxidative stress at the cellular level. The laboratory investigates the convergence of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, biomedical sensors, data analysis and blockchain, with the objective of developing systems capable of obtaining, protecting and analysing biological information in a secure and verifiable manner. This research aims to advance towards more preventive, personalised and continuously monitored medicine, studying technologies that can provide a better understanding of cellular behaviour, detect alterations at an early stage and explore new strategies to protect and restore cellular balance.
